This switch does not require blocking capacitors if no DC applied on the RF lines. The BGSA147ML10 tuning switch is available in a RoHS and WEEE compliant package having a small form factor of 1.1mm. The tuning capacitors are used to tune the antenna to the proper operating frequency of 134.2 kHz. The capacitors are selected with jumper combination to choose from a wide range of values. The capacitors are selected in steps. A fine tuning adjustment screw adds a variable inductance to the loop to match the stepped capacitance value.
